However, this didn’t stop the Saints from winning an NFC South title a year later, earning the team an ESPY Award for “Best Moment in Sports” when they beat the Eagles 27-24.

Last season, the New Orleans Saints ended the 2007 season with a 7-9 record. Since the Superdome was re-built in 2006, it had sold out every New Orleans Saints tickets for two consecutive years.
